                                                                                    Belfast has two airports

         George Best Belfast City Airport  and  Belfast International Airport

Belfast City Airport is situated 3.5 km from the city centre centre adjacent to the A2 ,one of the main arterial routes into the city

and caters for over 2.5 million passengers per year. Traffic is mostly short haul with destinations mainly in Great Britain and Ireland.

Belfast International Airport is situated 21 km from the city centre although it is easily accessible by using the M2 and then A57.

If you are travelling to or from Europe then this wil be the airport you will be using. Aldergrove as it is sometimes refered to has

 Translink is Northern Irelands public transport provider. The intigratted network of Northern Ireland Railways ,Metro( formaly Citybus)

and Ulsterbus. These companies merged in 1995 and this has now improved services by offering co-ordinating timetables, through-ticketing

 FERRY           For anyone wishing to travel by car there are several ferry companies  travelling to and from mainland uk
